In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15), the Office of Multicultural Student Services seeks to create a collaborative lineup of events that promote the contributions of Hispanic Americans to our society and the diversity of the culture. Events are free and open to the public and are a great way to satisfy your cultural event requirements. Events will run from September 22nd to November 2nd.

The fourth event to take place in the event series is “Yard Show” on Friday, October 2nd at 8:00pm in Campus Quad. This 2nd annual presentation by the ladies of Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority will include members showcasing their organizations’ core values through song and step. Below is a short description of Sigma Lambda Gamma from OrgSync.

“As the first Latina based sorority introduced to the Ferris State University campus, the Sigma Lambda Gamma FSU Colony women have and will continue to promote cultural awareness and higher education on the campus of Ferris State University”
