Lunch and Learn: How to Gain Clinical Experiences as a Medical Scribe

Director of the GVSU Scribe Academy, Jeff Trytko, and Chief Scribe at Helix Scribe Solutions, Clark Vredevoogd, will be hosting a Lunch and Learn on Thursday, March 23rd entitled “How to Gain Clinical Experiences as a Medical Scribe at the Big Rapids and Reed City Emergency Departments.” During their presentation, Jeff and Clark will discuss what the GVSU Scribe Academy is and how you can get involved. Below is a short description of what his Lunch and Learn will cover.

“Coming Fall 2017 Semester, positions are opening for medical scribes to work at the Big Rapids and Reed City Emergency Departments. Free training is available through Helix Scribe Solutions and the GVSU Scribe Academy. Graduates are offered part time employments that is flexible around class schedules. Participants will learn about the application process, overview of the training including online theory and clinical practice, and what experiences to expect while working as a medical scribe.”
