Mission Trip, 2013
Spring break is over and we are starting to receive pictures from some of our Honor students that chose to spend their spring break helping others. Check out the photos from Dental Hygiene and Honors student, Christa Cwiek who spent time in Guyana, South America. This trip was partially funded by the Honors Study Away Program. She and seven of her Ferris dental hygiene classmates, as well as dental students from the University of Michigan and dentists from the Grand Rapids area, spent 12-13 hours a day sitting on buckets and wearing headlights on their heads to provide free dental care to the Guyanese people.
