Dr. Jordan Fenton

Ferris State University Center for Global Studies and Engagement will be presenting “Initiation, Secret Societies and Masquerade in Nigeria” with guest speaker, Dr. Jordan Fenton. Dr. Fenton is an assistant professor of Art History at Kendall College of Art and Design, as well as a Fulbright Scholar, 2008-2010. This talk will touch on Dr. Fenton’s Fulbright-Hays fieldwork and research into the art and masquerade of secret societies conducted in Calabar, Nigeria.

This event will be held Thursday, April 11 at 5:00 PM in IRC 120 and is FREE and open to ALL students, faculty and the community.
