TITLE: Discrete Dynamical Systems and Chaos
ABSTRACT: Discrete dynamical systems are mathematically very interesting to study and produce visually appealing objects. This presentation will define discrete dynamical systems as well as offer up a discussion of the various components of such systems. Other mathematical definitions such as accumulation points, Cantor sets, topological transitivity, and neighborhoods will also be covered. We will finish with an explanation of chaos from the perspective of dynamical systems.
