On Saturday, September 28, thirty FSU Honors students volunteered their time and efforts to clean up the environment while receiving credit towards their Community Service requirement. The Honors Program has adopted a two mile section of M-20 between Clear Lake and Rodney. The Adopt-A-Highway Program requires that this area is maintained by the “adopting” business or individual by scheduling clean-up days in September and April. This project was lead by LeAnne Barstow and sponsored by the Honors Programming Board. Watch for postings in the future if you are interested in attending the April clean-up.
