“50 Years Forward: The Continuing Fight for Civil Rights in Michigan and Beyond, a lively discussion on accomplishments, challenges, and opportunities ahead for civil rights in our communities, state and nation.”

As part of its 50 City/50th Anniversary celebration, the Michigan Civil Rights Commission (MCRC) and the Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR) will be visiting Ferris for a panel discussion on accomplishments, challenges and opportunities ahead for civil rights in our state, nation and communities.

This will be held  on Thursday, October 17, 2013, from 11am-noon, in IRC 120.  This event is being sponsored by The Office of Governmental Relations and General Counsel,  along with PEP, Diversity & Inclusion, Mutlicultural Student Services and the Latino Studies Center
