Ferris State University students are often well aware of university events. As members of Big Rapids, it is important for students to also be well informed events that happen throughout the community in which they reside. Tracy Glentz and Dan Tuuri will discuss local events to promote student involvement in the Big Rapids community. Topics such as the Big Rapids Jaycees, and Academic Service Learning projects, and Taste of Mecosta will be discussed and linked to how students can become more involved and even find opportunities to volunteer within the community.
