Walk for Life

The Walk for Life is an event on March 29, 2014 designed to raise awareness of suicide and suicide prevention. The walk is three hours long. Check in will begin at 12:30 PM. There is no sign-up prior to the walk and everyone is welcome. Participants will be walking for 3 hours starting at 1:00 PM. They can stop at different stations to learn more about suicide and suicide prevention. In the middle of the walking track there will also be big sheets of papers where participants can write inspirational messages and quotes, just sign their name, draw a picture, put their hand print, or anything else of that nature. There will also be fun games, food, and even live music. There is no cost for the event — it is a walk 100% for awareness.
