Study Away—El Salvador, May 2014

Rachael Bouwma, a junior majoring in Social Work, travelled to El Salvador with the Study Abroad Program from May 17 through 30, 2014. Students participated in tours of the area, learning opportunities, and also had the opportunity to hear personal testimonies from survivors of El Salvador’s civil war. Any Honors student in good standing is eligible to apply for an Honors Funded Travel Scholarship to help offset travel expenses for Study Abroad experiences such as this. Rachael shared a few of her photos from her journey with us.
