Honors Program at Ferris State University
For all students that have been with the Honors Program for more than one year, we are sure that you are more than aware of all of the changes that have been taking place within the Program. As we continue to grow, we find it necessary to continue to make more changes to meet the needs and demands of our growing student population and to ensure the continued success of our program. We understand that as a student, this can sometimes be confusing and somewhat frustrating,
With this is mind, Dr. Bradley has scheduled Student Informational meetings to explain the changes in the Program, which will cover the new procedures for reporting Cultural Events, Community Service and RSO information, a new Study Away Scholarship form, as well as the new procedures for the Application for Medallion. The discussion will include Honors form location, submission procedure, etc., handbook changes and other procedural changes that will be taking place this academic year. This information is necessary for your success in the Honors Program this year. Many of these changes will make your life as an Honors student much easier and less time consuming. The schedule/location for these MANDATORY MEETINGS can be found below:
BUS 202 26-AUG-2014 Tues 11:00-11:50 – New Transfer Meeting
SCI 102 28-AUG-2014 Thurs 11:00-11:50 – Meet with second year students A-K.
SCI 126 02-SEP-2014 Tues 11:00-11:50 – Meet with second year students L-Z.
SCI 102 04-SEP-2014 Thurs 11:00-11:50 – Meet with juniors (i.e. intending to complete the program Fall 2015 or Spring 2016).
SCI 126 09-SEP-2014 Tues 11:00-11:50 – Meet with seniors (i.e. intending to complete the program Fall 2014 or Spring 2015).
All first-year student will be made aware of the new procedures by your HNRS 100 professors.
