Join Andrew Peterson on Tuesday, October 7 at 11AM for a Lunch and Learn on “Game-Based Learning”. In this session we will be talking about the history of game-based learning. We’ll talk about historical models of this pedagogical method, as well as current implementation. Basic content engagement will be discussed and learners will be asked about game-based learning examples they’ve seen in the classroom. We will debate the pros and cons of the methodology of instruction.
This will be held in the Honors Conference Room, PIC 142, and of course, we will be serving Jet’s Pizza and pop. To reserve your seat, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org before noon on 10/6/14.
