Day of Service Debrief

As most of the Day of Service events are complete we should look back on our accomplishments and ask if it was worth it. Did all that time and effort make a difference?

Here is a rundown of what the Day of Service events looks like: we had 8 events, 93 volunteers, 15 facilitators, and over 500 hours of service!

The events had a major impact. Through these events we wrote 18 letters to our troops, distributed 10,000lbs of food, created over 1,000ft of nature trails, removed over 500lbs of trash from the Muskegon River, and helped two nonprofits reorganize their space!

To answer my earlier question, yes we did make a difference. I hope you all see that as well and will continue your service. If you participated in the Day of Service events, thank you!

Finally if you participated in the Day of Service and haven’t completed t
