Lunch & Learn: “Understanding Modern Paganism”

Understanding Modern Paganism

Understanding Modern Paganism

One aspect of cultural diversity is religious diversity. Apart from major world religions, modern paganism is growing locally, nationally, and world-wide. These are largely earth-based religions which draw on beliefs and practices of indigenous cultures from around the world. Though modern paganism is growing in vast numbers, it is still largely misunderstood by mainstream culture.  The intention for the Honors Lunch and Learn is to give a brief history of modern paganism, explain the variance and commonality among different pagan groups, and attempt to correct misunderstanding surrounding this form of spirituality.

Please join us for this very informative event presented by Professor Julie Rudolph on Tuesday, October 28 at 11:00AM in the Honors Conference Room, PIC 142C. We will be serving Jet’s pizza and pop for lunch. To reserve your seat, please RSVP to [email protected] by noon on Monday, October 27.
