Enrollment Services is planning two Get Real! events.
It takes approximately 50 volunteers to pull off each Get Real! and we need your help.
The first event will be held on Thursday, March 19th, from 8 am to 2 pm in the University Center multi-purpose room. This Get Real! will be a recruiting event in conjunction with an Admissions College Fair, and we will be hosting juniors from all of the local high schools (MOISD) as well as some seniors from the MOISD Career Center. MOISD will be providing approximately 10 volunteers to help. Lunch will be provided for all volunteers.
The second event will be held Wednesday, April 15th, from 3 – 8 pm, also in the University Center multi-purpose room. This is the Get Real! for our continuing students. We will be inviting community members to help facilitate this event, but will still need a lot of staff to help. Dinner will be provided for all volunteers.
Heather Stewart, one of last year’s volunteers, stated “Get Real! was a wonderful experience. It was really fun and exciting seeing students have that “Aha moment”.
