Honors student, Jennifer Polglaze traveled to Cusco, Peru during December, 2014 with the Study Away Program. Jennifer, a senior in the Nursing Program, received the Study Away Scholarship from the Honors Program which is available to all Honors students in good standing. Below is a short description of Jennifer’s trip:

“My trip was to Cusco, Peru and here are my pictures!

The pictures are of me providing care and doing head-to-toe assessments on children in orphanages and after school programs. I had a chance to tour the Sacred Valley, which is the ancient land of the Incas. I also had a chance to go to an animal sanctuary where I was able to take a picture with a llama!  I had so much fun and gained experience that will help me in my future career as a nurse. Thank you again for the funds to help me go on this trip.” – Jennifer Polglaze
