SLD Read helps children who are struggling with reading through a nationally recognized tutoring method. As a volunteer you will receive, free of charge, specialized training to help local underserved students. Their is an interview process for SLD Read and a 32-hour Phonics Fundamentals training. New tutors receive 1:1 internship with an experienced SLD Read Tutor. Support and training is on going.

This is a great opportunity to get your volunteer hours in quickly and also get valuable experience under your belt for when you apply to jobs.
