Meagan Pollock, the director of Professional Development at the National Alliance for Partnerships in Equity will be sharing her experiences and discussing different opportunities for females in engineering in the University Center Room 203 on Thursday, March 19 at 6:00PM. This networking reception for females in engineering is open to the public and dinner will be provided.
Pollock Develops programs that help educators improve equity in the classroom with the goal of increasing participation of women and minorities in high-demand, high-wage careers. Previously, she worked as an engineer for Texas Instruments. She holds undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Math, a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and a doctorate in Engineering Education.
