Leadership Stoles, 2015

Aaron Biever has guided the FsU outdoor club through T’s tremendous growth in the past two years. The trail-building and river clean up service opportunities that the club has developed have both helped our students and made greater connections to the community. Aaron’s leadership has transformed the club into a perennial contender for 5-star status. While they didn’t win it this year, we expect it to happen soon.

Nicole Christy has been one of our go-to students over the past few years. She is not only the co-author of the constitution of the Honors Student Association constitution with Leanne Barstow, but also former president of the pre-Dental club and HPB. She’s also a recipient of the Torchbearer award, the ‘Rising Star’ award, Michigan Campus Compact’s ‘Heart and Soul award’ and 2 years with initiative 125.

Travis Hodder has served as President of Colleges against Cancer, one of the best established service RSOs on campus. Under his leadership, they CAC has flourished, raising more money through Relay for Life this year than in previous years. While in this role, Travis organized the ‘Battle of the Bands’ event, which is quickly becoming a staple of the Ferris calendar.

Sam Wohlfeil was twice elected president of the Music Industry Management association. While serving as President, he has brought some much-appreciated stability to the program, and guided the transition to financial independence. He has also served as FSU Housing President, and RA and desk services manager.
