This year the International Office is putting on a series of events known as “Global Village.” The idea of these events is to pair incoming American freshman with incoming international students in groups of 5 to 6 to host themed events at the end of the semester to raise awareness about studying abroad and exploring the world. Groups will work together and meet once a month throughout the semester with an RSO to create and host themed events.

In order to make this event series successful, student volunteers are needed to participate. This event is a great way for students to get involved in a meaningful way around campus and participates will earn 15 volunteer hours for the semester. If you are interested in participate or would like to learn more please contact Lindsey Hogan by email ([email protected]) or phone (586-536-5052). Students will be able to sign up until the day before (September 16th) the initial meet and greet event on September 17th from 6-8p.m. in IRC 107
