If you are looking for a fun cultural event outside of Big Rapids, look no further than The Grand Rapids Feminist Film Festival (GRFFF) hosted by The Bandit Zine. This film festival hosted at the Wealthy Theatre in Grand Rapids, MI is a celebration of films made by and for local and international feminists, women-identified, genderqueer, people of color, and other marginalized groups. This year, GRFFF will also be including workshops and panels in Koning Theatre as well as local vendors and Grand Rapids’ feminist groups in the lobby.
The festival will take place Sunday, September 13th from noon to 8:00pm. The films will be presented in “Blocks” with 15 minute breaks between each Block. Block 1 will begin at 12:15pm and is kid friendly, Block 2 will start at 2:00pm, Block 3 will start at 4:00pm, and Block 4 will begin at 6:00pm.
