Volunteers are needed for Big Rapids Fun Fest on September 13, 2015 from 8 AM until 5 PM.

The festival is a community wide event with a carnival theme featuring a chicken dinner, country store, a DJ, and children’s events that include carnival games, a petting zoo, inflatables, arts and crafts and concessions. Fun Fest is the primary fundraiser for St. Mary Catholic School’s academic programming, a non-profit educational institution with low tuition rates that welcomes all. Volunteers will be aiding in setup and takedown, running carnival games, monitoring inflatables, helping with children’s arts and crafts, serving and cleaning up at the chicken dinner, working concessions, selling tickets and any other needed help

This event is part of the 2015 Day of Service & Learning; a project started in 2014 by the Honors Program, that provides as many students as possible with a meaningful service opportunity at the start of the year.
