Attention Honors students: We are still in need of volunteers for the Cran-Hill Ranch Day of Service and Learning. This is a great opportunity to get outside and help out the community while also earning service hours for the year!
Projects to be achieved: Outside building painting, remove boat and fishing docks from the lake, widen bridges on nature trails, move handrails on a bridge, rebuild horse fences, and redo the baselines on the softball field. Student who are willing to bring bathing suits would be helpful for removing the boat and fishing docks.
This event is part of the 2015 Day of Service & Learning; a project started in 2014 by the Honors Program, that provides as many students as possible with a meaningful service opportunity at the start of the year. This project also provided the community with valuable help and support from Ferris. Please check out all opportunities and sign up on OrgSync. To get credit for your service hours please complete the survey for the event and log your hours.
The event will take place Saturday, September 19th from 9:00 am till 4:00 pm at 14444 17 Mile Rd., Rodney, MI 49342. To sign up click here!
