Volunteers Needed for 1016 Recovery Network Day of Service and Learning

We have officially updated a new Day of Service and Learning, 1016 Recovery Network, and we are in need of volunteers! This is a great opportunity to earn service hours while getting to know this great resource provided to the Big Rapids community.

The 1016 Recovery Network helps addicts recover and advocates for prevention of drug and alcohol abuse. Their organization is in need of some repairs and painting and could use your help. The project can be done anytime between 9am and 5pm. The facilitator should work with volunteers to decide on a time and contact Kim Livingston [email protected] to let her know about the time.

This event is part of the 2015 Day of Service & Learning; a project started in 2014 by the Honors Program, that provides as many students as possible with a meaningful service opportunity at the start of the year. This project also provided the community with valuable help and support from Ferris. Please check out all opportunities and sign up on OrgSync. To get credit for your service hours please complete the survey for the event and log your hours.

This event will take place on Friday, September 25th from 1:30pm till 5:00pm at 21061 19 Mile Rd., Big Rapids, MI 49307. To sign up, click here!

If you have any questions regarding the event or OrgSync please contact Charles Malone, the Honors Advisor at [email protected].
