Cultural Event: Latin@ Heritage “Music on the Muskegon”

In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 – October 15), the Office of Multicultural Student Services seeks to create a collaborative lineup of events that promote the contributions of Hispanic Americans to our society and the diversity of the culture. Events are free and open to the public and are a great way to satisfy your cultural event requirements. Events will run from September 22nd to November 2nd.

The fifth event to take place in this event series is “Music on the Muskegon” on Saturday, October 3rd from 4-9pm in Hemlock Park. This event is hosted by the Music Industry Management Association. Below is a description of the event:

“Hemlock Park will be transformed into a collective art venue, complete with two music stages, cultural workshops, Around the World in 5K Run/Walk, and more! Featured performers will be the Latin music collective band, Cabildo.”
