Global Village is designed to engage American freshman  with incoming international students who are looking for a way to get involved on campus and make some American friends. Three to eight students will be working in a group for an entire semester to plan a cultural event that gives the audience insight into a particular country. The events can range from a potluck dinner to a movie screening, it depends entirely upon each groups decisions. They will have to decide on a theme, an RSO to work with, and all the details of their event. Groups will meet once every week or so for 45 minutes or more, depending on the material. The country’s represented for this semester are Egypt, Vietnam, Germany, France, South Korea, Bahamas, Japan, Iran, and the Netherlands.
