The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid is seeking several student volunteers to help facilitate the Get Real! event in University Center 202 on Thursday, October 8th between 9:00am and 3:00pm. Volunteers must be available for the entire six hour shift. Lunch will be provided.

Get Real! is a great event that allows students to pick an occupation that may be obtained with the student’s Ferris degree and then the students interact with local businesses and groups in a simulation of real life processes such as purchasing a home or vehicle, determining monthly student loan payments, shopping for insurance, day care, utilities, groceries, etc.
Volunteers will be assigned to help staff and local business owners man “stations” at the event. Volunteers will receive training when they arrive.
