“The use of a tinted contact lens for the purpose of a simple eye color enhancement is considered fashion-forward amongst wearers. However these types of contact lenses can also be life changing for some patients who present with ocular asymmetry and unbearable symptoms such as light sensitivity. Research initiatives also show promising results in the arena of tinted lens use on visual performance for both indoor and outdoor activities. This lunch & learn will provide a brief overview of the multiple uses of tinted contact lenses in clinical practice and research. You will also have an opportunity to get a first-hand look at some of the products that are currently available for eye care providers to best serve the needs of their patients.”
