Cultural Event: Native American Heritage Ghost Supper

The Office of Multicultural Student Services is hosting Native Now, a Native American Heritage Celebration. There will be several events in this series to help inform Ferris students about Native American culture and traditions.

The first event of this series is entitled “Ghost Supper” and it will be held on Wednesday, November 4th from 5:30-9pm in West Campus Community Center. Below is a short description of the event.

Ghost Supper is a “traditional Great Lakes region Native American feast meal to honor those who have passed on to the spirit world. Bill and Nancy Fuchs, keepers of the White Wolf Drum, will guide participants through this cultural immersion including feast protocol, Anishinaabek drum songs, and other Ghost Supper traditions.”
