Cultural Event: A Native American Thanksgiving

The Office of Multicultural Student Services is hosting Native Now, a Native American Heritage Celebration. There will be several events in this series to help inform Ferris students about Native American culture and traditions.

The last event to take place in this series is entitled “A Native American Thanksgiving” and will take place on Monday, November 23th from 5:00-8:00pm in the University Center Rankin Lounge. Below is a short description of the event.

“A Feast Meal and presentation to share Thanksgiving Teachings from a Native American Perspective. We invite the campus community to learn about the Native American tradition of feast meals and share a Thanksgiving meal of Native American foods. Guest speaker will be Lee Sprague, a former Tribal Council member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians.”
