Fall 2015 Senior Symposium

On Wednesday, December 9, nine students made their final presentations as Honor students when they participated in the Fall, 2015 Senior Symposium. Seniors Zachary Zwiernikowski, Jennifer Polglaze, Haylee Luedtke, Kelsey Bott, Dalton White, Alexandra Myaard, Alexandra Wood, Autumn Vanden Berg, and Krista Lobkovich all made their presentations at an event held in the Pickell Hall lobby.

Zachary Zwiernikowski will receive a BS in Nursing from the College of Health Professions. His project was entitled “Acute Care Nurse Practitioners are Not Being Used to their Full Competency.” Jennifer Polglaze will receive a BS in Nursing from the College of Health Professions. Her project was entitled “Migrant Health Care.” Haylee Luedtke will receive a Bachelors degree in Health Care Systems Administration from the College of Health Professions. Her project was entitled “Fitness Trackers: Simple Consumerism or Healthy Behavior Tool?” Kelsey Bott will receive a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science from the College of Health Professions. Her project was entitled “Automation in Blood Banking.” Dalten White will receive Bachelors degree in Information Security and Intelligence from the College of Business. His project was entitled “Boot 2 Root Challenge.” Alexandra Myaard will receive a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from the College of Education-Human Services. Her project was entitled “How Does Forensic Linguistics Aid in Understanding the Law?” Alexandra Wood will receive a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from the College of Education-Human Services. Her project was entitled “Slipping Through the Cracks.” Autumn Vanden Berg  will receive Bachelors in Pre-Pharmacy from the College of Pharmacy. Her project was entitled “Antibiotic Resistence: A Newfound Crisis and its Preventative Measures.” Krista Lobkovich will receive Bachelors degree in Pre-Pharmacy from the College of Pharmacy. Her project was entitled “Sumatriptan.”

All students received their Honors Medallion signifying the years of work and extra effort put forth by these excellent young people. The staff of the Honors Program would like to congratulate all of these outstanding students!
