National Wear Red Day

National Wear Red Day is Friday, February 5th hosted by American Heart Association. Heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year, killing approximately one woman every 80 seconds. Fortunatley, that can change because 80 percent of cardiac and stroke events may be prevented with education and action. That’s why this year we are asking that you wear red on National Wear Red Day and encourage others to do the same. Show your support for your friends, family and women in your community.

Please wear red on February 5,2016 and join us at the University Center at 12:15pm for a group photo. The photo will be submitted to the American Heart Association’s website to represent FSU’s support for their mission to improve lives through education, research, and prevention of heart disease.
