As education scholar Maryellen Weimer (2002) would attest, building connections between faculty and students can lead to more meaningful learning experiences. Dialogues have been recognized as a critical starting point for cultivating these experiences. As part of FCTL’s yearlong these, “Relationships,” faculty and students are invited to participate in several facilitated discussions dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion within the classroom. Educational resources will be available. A light lunch will be served.
