Lunch and Learn: “New FSU Graduate Degree Opportunity”

Professor Gail Bullard will be hosting a Lunch and Learn on Thursday, March 3rd entitled “New FSU Graduate Degree Opportunity.” During her presentation, Professor Bullard will reveal FSU’s new Master of Healthcare Administration degree and how you can become a part of this new opportunity. Below is a short description of what will be covered in the presentation.

“We are very excited to announce the Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree, a fully online program that can be completed in two years, with classes starting Fall 2016! Graduates are prepared with the necessary skill and knowledge to lead healthcare organizations through the use of evidence-based decision making in the areas of economics, financial management, organizational behavior and human resource management, strategic planning, and marketing, with a keen focus on quality improvement, resource efficiency,  and inter-professional collaboration. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects employment opportunities for medical and health services managers to increase by 17% during the period from 2014 to 2024, much faster than most occupations. The national median wage is $92,810 in May 2014, the Michigan media wage is $85,500 for this same time frame.”
