Eli Segal Fellowship

The Eli Segal Fellowship is now accepting highly qualified candidate for a 13-month position at the Corporation for National and Community Services (CNCS). This fellowship will allow you to gain first-hand experience in how a federal agency works to implement policy and leverage national service in order to tackle some of the most pressing issues facing our nation.

The Eli Segal Fellow will have the opportunity to work with the CEO’s Office and other departments in the agency to advance national service policy, operations, and strategy. Successful fellows have an entrepreneurial spirit and will work with high-level officials on projects that will help advance the mission of the national service and the strategic goals of the CNCS. Fellows will also be part of a nation-wide network of fellows through Eli J. Segal Citizen Leadership Program, which provides livelong support for personal and professional growth.

This unique opportunity is open to current and past national service participants with exceptional leadership ability, drive, and commitment to help to advance the mission and strategic goals of the Corporation. Currently serving members must complete a full-time term of service in AmeriCorps State National, AmeriCorps NCCC (1700 hours), or AmeriCorps VISTA (one year) by July 23, 2016 to be eligible, and alumni must have completed service within the last 3 years.
