Lunch and Learn: Honors Contract Student Presentations

HonorsLogo-Flames-100pxA few Honors students who have completed Honors contracts for the Spring semester will be briefly presenting their projects at a Lunch and Learn on Tuesday, April 26th, entitled “Honors Contract Student Presentations.” During this Lunch and Learn, the students will take 5-7 minutes each to describe their projects, explain what they got out of the Honors Contract process and answer any questions you may have. This is a great opportunity for students who are presenting contracts in the Fall to see what their fellow students have been working on. Below is a list of students who will be presenting and their respective topics.

Alexander Wayne, Comparison of Healthcare System in US and Germany

For his project for COHP 101, Alexander compared the US healthcare system to the Canadian and German healthcare systems. He analyzed and compared the strengths and weaknesses of each system.

McKenzie Freeman, Interpersonal Communication in Dental Hygiene

For her project, McKenzie looked at the compliance gaining and immediacy in the dental hygiene field. She researched the topic and wrote a paper to present her findings.

Jessica Marcks and Bianca Broniec, Movie Scene in a Different Light

For their project, Jessica and Bianca created a short film in which someone is making spaghetti. Through the use of different musical selections, they changed the emotion projected from the film and studied how these emotions effect the film viewer.
