Days of Service and Learning: Bulldog Beginnings Beautification Project

As a kick off to Days of Service and Learning, Honors has partnered with CLACS and Bulldog Beginnings to form the service project of helping clean the FSU campus on Wednesday, August 31st. Weeding, clearing little and sweeping will happen around campus at various time periods between 9:00am and 6:00pm. Come show your support for FSU as well as earn service hours!

Below are the various locations. To sign up please click on the time slot that works best for you.

  • 9:00am to 10:00am – Corner of Ferris Dr. and Perry St. – weed and clear litter from flower beds
  • 10:00am to 11:00am – Robin Court – weed and clear litter from flower beds
  • 11:00am to 1:00pm – FSU Ropes Course – clear litter
  • 12:00pm to 1:00pm – East Campus Suites – clear litter
  • 1:00pm to 2:00pm – West Campus Apartments – clear litter
  • 2:00pm to 3:00pm – Robin/Finch/Cardinal Court – clear litter
  • 3:00pm to 4:00pm – area between general service and grounds annex – clear litter
  • 4:00pm to 6:00pm – FSU Nature Preserve – clear litter
  • 4:00pm to 6:00pm – Andrew’s Pond (behind VFS/McDonalds) – clear litter
  • 4:00pm to 6:00pm – Crosswalks across Ferris – sweep crosswalks

Please show up at the destination 10 minutes prior to the start time, to the front of the location nearest the main road to meet with the other volunteers. Someone will be on site to provide instructions and tool/supplies. Please wear appropriate working attire and solid shoes.
