Cultural Event: Trailblazers Exhibit

The Office of Multicultural Student Services (OMSS) in collaboration with the Center for Latin@ Studies, Spanish Department, Hispanic Student Organization, and the Spanish Club is putting on the 2016 Latin@ Heritage Celebration! This series of events are hosted annually in commemoration of national Hispanic Heritage Month (observed September 15-October 15) which aims to recognize the societal contributions of Hispanic/Latina/o Americans.

The first event will be an exhibit that will begin on September 19th and run till September 30th. The exhibit is entitled “Trailblazers Exhibit” and will include banners displayed featuring Hispanic American who helped pave the way for other Hispanics and helped to make an impact on society. The exhibit can be found in the IRC Connector from 10am to 4pm.
