Cultural Event: Latin Film Night

The Office of Multicultural Student Services (OMSS) in collaboration with the Center for Latin@ Studies, Spanish Department, Hispanic Student Organization, and the Spanish Club is putting on the 2016 Latin@ Heritage Celebration! This series of events are hosted annually in commemoration of national Hispanic Heritage Month (observed September 15-October 15) which aims to recognize the societal contributions of Hispanic/Latina/o Americans.

The second event taking place is the Latin Film Night on Wednesday, September 21st from 7:00-8:30pm in IRC 131. The Hispanic Student Organization and the Center for Latin@ Studies will be showing the documentary “Los Graduados/The Graduates.”This film explores the issues in education through the eyes of Latino students from the United States. There will be an open discussion before and after the film.
