Volunteer Opportunity: Cardinal Walk

Riverview and Brookside PTOs are hosting the 3rd Annual Cardinal Walk-a-thon on Saturday, October 8th. The event will run from 9am to 2pm and they are in need of volunteers to assist with activities at the event. Below are the events that need volunteers and what time slots you can sign up for.

Set up Walk-a-thon 

  • Help set up event before it starts at 9am. Arrive at the BRHS Gym at 8am sharp.
    • 8:00am – 9:00am (10 Volunteers Needed)

Bounce House 

  • Monitor bounce house
    • 9:00am – 10:00am (2 Volunteers Needed)
    • 10:00am – 11:00am (2 Volunteers Needed)
    • 11:00am – 12:00pm (2 Volunteers Needed)
    • 12:00pm – 1:00pm (2 Volunteers Needed)
    • 1:00pm – 2:00pm (2 Volunteers Needed)

Check in Table – Runner

  • Help at check-in table and run errands
    • 9:00am – 10:00am (2 Volunteers Needed)
    • 10:00am – 11:00am (2 Volunteers Needed)
    • 11:00am – 12:00pm (2 Volunteers Needed)
    • 12:00pm – 1:00pm (2 Volunteers Needed)
    • 1:00pm – 2:00pm (2 Volunteers Needed)

Dance Party 

  • Help run the dance party area
    • 9:00am – 10:00am (2 Volunteers Needed)
    • 10:00am – 11:00am (2 Volunteers Needed)
    • 11:00am – 12:00pm (2 Volunteers Needed)
    • 12:00pm – 1:00pm (2 Volunteers Needed)

Fruit Kabob Station 

  • Help assemble and hand out fruit Kabobs to participants
    • 9:00am – 10:00am (2 Volunteers Needed)
    • 10:00am – 11:00am (2 Volunteers Needed)
    • 11:00am – 12:00pm (2 Volunteers Needed)
    • 12:00pm – 1:00pm (2 Volunteers Needed)

Goal Card Table 

  • Hand out goal cards to students participating

Inflatable Obstacle Course 

  • Help monitor the course
