The Office of Multicultural Student Services (OMSS) in collaboration with the Center for Latin@ Studies, Spanish Department, Hispanic Student Organization, and the Spanish Club is putting on the 2016 Latin@ Heritage Celebration! This series of events are hosted annually in commemoration of national Hispanic Heritage Month (observed September 15-October 15) which aims to recognize the societal contributions of Hispanic/Latina/o Americans.

The third event will be a Quinceanera on September 30th from 5:00 – 11:45pm in the University Center 202. Quinceaneras are celebrated throughout Latina/o communities around the world as an occasion to recognize Latin girls who are transitioning to womanhood. Attendees will be able to learn more about and participate in the traditional ceremony.

All of the Latin@ Heritage Celebration events are free and open to the public. If you want more information, please contact OMSS located in the FLITE Library Suite 159 or email .
