Cultural Event: Testimonios Diversity and Latin@ Cultures

The Office of Multicultural Student Services (OMSS) in collaboration with the Center for Latin@ Studies, Spanish Department, Hispanic Student Organization, and the Spanish Club is putting on the 2016 Latin@ Heritage Celebration! This series of events are hosted annually in commemoration of national Hispanic Heritage Month (observed September 15-October 15) which aims to recognize the societal contributions of Hispanic/Latina/o Americans.

On Thursday, October 6th, they will host “Testimonios: Diversity and Latin@ Cultures.” The purpose of this event is to deepen the knowledge and celebrate the diversity in Latin@ culture. The event will begin with a dinner and networking session at 5pm. Then there will be an engaging performance by special guests One World Diversity concluding with stimulating talk-backs that explore Latin@ cultures and identities. The event will take place from 5-8pm in the University Center 202C.
