Spring 2017 Course: GEOG421 National Parks of the World

This course will be a study and description of the natural history and economic development of the earth’s unique natural wonders. Emphasis on understanding physical processes in creating the park features, problems of human use, and protection in the emerging global economy. Photography and maps used to aid appreciation. This course meets General Education requirements: Global Consciousness. Social Awareness Recommended on prior Social Awareness course. Pr-Requisites: One Social Awareness Foundations Course.
