Wege Prize, organized by Kendall College of Art and Design, is an annual student design competition that gives teams of five the chance to collaborate across institutional and disciplinary boundaries, use design thinking principles, and contend for $30,000 in total cash prizes, all while helping to show the world what the future of problem solving looks like. Wege Prize is open to both undergraduate and graduate students!
Before getting down to design and proposing a product, service, business/non-profit organization, or other solution to help power the transition into a circular economy, Wege Prize 2017 participants must conquer their first challenge: building a team! The top three tips for building a great Wege Prize team are: diversify, diversify, diversify; get out of your comfort zone, and know your stuff.
