London Study Abroad Story

Honors student, Lauren Stefl, recently studied abroad in London during May of 2016. Below is her comments on your trip as well as some pictures. Thank you, Lauren, for sharing!

“I had the opportunity to partake in a short term study abroad during May of 2016. It was a combines Theater and Television and Digital Media Production study abroad where we spent seven of our nearly ten days in London and spent the last two in Paris. The city of London is absolutely stunning and getting the opportunity to experience it while also studying under an artistic lens was such a cool thing to do. We got to attend plays and musicals while also visiting visual effects studios in the surrounding areas. This study abroad allowed me to realize that London was a city that I was completely enamored with while also feeling right at home. Though it was only ten days, it was long enough t realize the benefits of exploring other cultures and allowed me to recognize the differences that exist in the world. I completely recommend studying abroad. Even if you’re on the fence about it and it seems too expensive, just do it.”
