Cultural Event: #NOTYPE Campaign Against Stereotypes Discussion

The Office of Multicultural Student Services is working to promote the importance of intercultural exchange and connections with members of our campus community by encouraging you to participate in a campaign against stereotypes called #NoType. #NoType will give others an opportunity to share their experiences with being stereotypes and why it is important to challenge stereotypes.

There are three ways you can participate:

1.) Instagram Challenge – photos and videos can be submitted to OMSS on Instagram (@fsuomss), photos and videos will be reposted on the OMSS Instagram page, the top posts with the most likes will have a chance to win some great raffle prizes.

2.) #NoType Pledge – members of our community can stop by our OMSS tables in the University Center and FLITE Library on 11/21, 11/22, and from 11/28 to 12/02 to sign the pledge. Pledges will be posted at the OMSS lounge located in FLITE 159.

3.) Discussion (Cultural Event) – There will be a focus group discussion on the “#NoType: Campaign Against Stereotypes” on Tuesday, December 6th at 11am in FLITE 159. All are encourages to attend.
