Voca Lyrica, Big Rapids’ premier women’s choir, presents its 16th annual holiday concert at 7pm on December 10th in the Big Rapids High School Auditorium. Founding Artistic Director Ginny Kerwin conducts the ensemble in a program of sacred and secular works to evoke the Christmas spirit. Also appearing in the concert are the Big Rapids Area Youth Choir under the direction of Jeanna Lamar, the Con Brio Voce Brass Quintet conducted by Brian Balch, the liturgical dance ensemble from Big Rapids First United Methodist Church Lyrics in Motion, and story-teller Robert Hampson. Courtney Piercy will direct the Reed City United Methodist Church Chancel Choir in pre-concert caroling.
Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for pre K-12 students. Tickets can be purchased at Great Lakes Book and Supply, the Old Pioneer Store and Emporium, Patterson’s Flowers, from choir members, or at the door. For more information, please visit their website or contact Leah Monger at .
