The Big Rapids Festival of the Arts as part of the Foreign Film Festival will be presenting Blind Chance, a 1987 Polish film. Throughout the film, we watch the totally different ways that Vitek’s life could develop, depending on how fast he runs to catch a train one day. Will he become a dedicated communist? An ardent anti-communist? Totally apolitical? In addition to being a fascinating story (or three fascinating stories), this movie gives viewers much to consider regarding the turning points in their own lives.
The screening will take place on Thursday, February 2nd at 7:00pm at the Big Rapids Community Library. For more information, visit brfota.org.
