George Nagel, leader of the Self-Compassion workshops on campus, will be hosting a Lunch and Learn on Thursday, February 23rd entitled “Mindfulness and Compassion.” During his presentation, George will discuss what mindfulness is and how it works as well as how to be compassionate to ourselves and other. His presentation will answer the questions: What is mindfulness? How does it work? How does it alter the brain? How can we do it and with compassion for ourselves and others?
