The FSU RSO, Advocacy and Education of Gender Identity and Sexuality, will be hosting a Lunch and Learn on Tuesday, February 28th entitled “AEGIS.” The Advocacy and Education of Gender Identity and Sexuality (AEGIS) is dedicated to making a change on campus and in the Big Rapids community. They stride to make the community a more accepting place for the LGBTQIA+ community. As a group, they try and hold monthly events such as Transgender Day of Remembrance, National Coming Out Day, Your Words Have Power, and AIDS Awareness Day. During their presentation, they will discuss a general overview and background of transgender women in honor of Women’s History Month.
